NoctiLumina® Binders

Three different NoctiLumina® binder types are available. NoctiLumina® binders are carefully-developed formulations based on polymers that have proven lifetimes in excess of 50 years. Completely cured, they are non-toxic, non-acidic, and demonstrate very little yellowing over many decades even in ultraviolet light environments (i.e. outside). Each binder type has a corresponding thinner type. We recommend a 72-hour room-temperature cure time in order to make sure that all of the solvent has been eliminated prior to closure of the watch case.

• Binder 1A - Enhanced adhesion, best for bezels and other exterior surfaces. Can also be used on dials and hands. Fairly short pot life.
• Binder 2 - Good for clear overcoats on bezel applications. Fairly short pot life.
• Binder 3 - Recommended for general use. Long working-time/pot-life. Very similar to the standard binder/varnish from another manufacturer.
